Have you read the 'Winter Edition'? The 'Gift of giving' is a very important aspect in 'Littlest Pet Shop'. Every pet has one or two items in his 'Dream Set' that you can put on your 'Wish List'. When your friends give you that item as a gift, they earn a Heart. An in-game currency that they can use to play the 'Hearts Lucky Paws game' or to buy more exclusive accessories.
The deco-bits are prices from the Lucky Paws lottery game. When you look around in other gardens you will see that some players are overloaded with decorations that you don't get. If there are gifts that you win all the time, don't forget to share them. Hopefully your neighbors will do the same. Do understand that the Gifts of the 'Bling Lucky Paws game' are rare in every town. So don't put those items on your 'Wish List' unless you have nothing else left to ask for.
The Hats and Bracelets are accessories that you can buy yourself, but there is a thing or two that you should know.
When you have friends in your list who have more than a 120 pets, then that means you have friends who have more Kibble then they can spend. As a beginner you can give them the opportunity to buy things for you so you can save your kibble to buy Houses and Pets.
There are a few quests that cannot be completed without Hearts. If you put cheap Bracelets and Hats on your 'Wish List' friends can give you those accessories over and over again, until they have enough Hearts. We are talking about lots of hearts. At least 2,500 for the quests and double that amount if they want the accessories too.
In your friends list you will see your friends sorted according the amount of pets they have. Be aware of the fact that a lot of people stop playing or at least play a lot less, once they have 175 pets. After that they need bling to buy houses and pets and that takes to long.
